Flouride will once more be the topic of Sheridan’s city council meeting on Monday night.
At their regularly scheduled meeting tonight, the Sheridan city council will discuss the results of the city-wide water fluoridation survey that was conducted earlier in the year.
The survey was mailed to more than 12,000 Sheridan residents. Although the city council is not required to take any action regarding fluoridation after the survey results are released, several city council members said that they would vote on the issue based on the survey results.
The fluoridation of Sheridan’s water supply has been controversial with residents of Sheridan since its introduction to Sheridan’s municipal water supply in 2015.
City Council will meet in Council Chambers in Sheridan’s City Hall tonight beginning at 7:00 PM.
