SHERIDAN, WY— A new trail in Sheridan will soon be open to the public thanks to the Sheridan Community Land Trust (SCLT).

The Hidden Hoot Trail, which will eventually become part of the Soldier Ridge Trail System, is nearing completion, but SCLT is asking for the public’s help with the finishing touches.

SCLT’s Director of Marketing and Development, Chris Vrba, said that a “Groveling Party,” will be held on Thursday.

According to Vrba, the Hidden Hoot Trail is projected to be open to the public in early July. The trail will eventually connect to the Soldier Ridge Classic Trail via the Heights Ranch Trail, and will form the Soldier Ridge Trail System.

SCLT noted that Mullinax Inc. donated the gravel to be used on the trail and Heartland Kubota LLC. donated use of equipment.

Vrba asked that anyone interested in helping out with the “Groveling Party” contact SCLT at trails@sheridanclt.org or (307) 751-0735
