Rose Irene Haler Bohren, 79, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Family Life Center with Pastor Ed Vine officiating. A Potluck luncheon will follow at the church. Please bring a covered dish, meat will be provided.
Rose was born on May 5, 1937, in Worland, WY, to Pete and Rosalla Liekam Haler. She was married to Duane “Tiny” Bohren in Meridian, CN. She and her husband moved to Sheridan, WY, and she was a resident of Sheridan for over 50 years. Rose worked for over 50 years as a CNA at the VA Hospital on Unit 8.
Rose enjoyed cooking, crocheting, doing crafts, reading, hunting, fishing and camping.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters, Helen Blackman Haler, Annie Jones, Hilda Perfect, Barbara Haler, brothers, Robert Haler, and Richard Haler. She is survived by her sister, Caroline “Ruth” Castoe of MT, brothers, George (Cleo) Haler of Buffalo, WY, Don (Linda) Haler of Sheridan, WY, sons, James (Deb) Vine of Hershler, IL, Edward (Sally) Vine of Sheridan, WY, Donald (Cheryl) Vine of Ranchester, WY, Gerald (Sheila) Vine of Polson, Mt, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials to honor Rose may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY, 82801.
