Robert “Bob” W. Gould, 93, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at his residence. He was born on October 1, 1924, in Fenton, MI, to Edmund and Luella Harrington Gould and graduated in 1941 from Fenton High School. He attended Baker Business College in Flint, MI, prior to his service in the United States Marine Corps WWII. He was employed in the Cost Department of Chevrolet Flint Manufacturing in Flint, MI, before pursuing his career in retailing. On October 20, 1946, he married Lucille DeLana Nissen in Rockwell City, IA.
Bob was a Life Member of Fenton Michigan Lodge F&AM, Durand Michigan Chapter RAM, and Durand Michigan Commandery KT. In the Sheridan area he served in the Service Corps of retired executives (SCORE). He was a life member of BPOE#520 and the Sheridan Chamber of Commerce where he served as an Ambassador for seven years. Bob was a member of the Big Horn Mountain Eagles Aerie 4169, the American Legion Post #7, the Big Horn Mountain Detachment of the Marine Corps League, and Kalif Shrine. He was Kalif Shriner of the years 2000, 2001, and 2005, Potentate’s Award of Merit in 2006, served four years as the Shrine Public Relations Chairman, was an Honorary member of the Oriental Band and Kalif Klowns.
Survivors include his wife Lucille, son Charles (Sheri) of Buffalo, granddaughter Amy of Denver and grandson Adam of Kissimmee, FL.
In lieu of flowers Memorials in his name may benefit Kalif Shrine Childrens Travel Fund, Box K, Sheridan, WY 82801.
