Sheridan County’s Commissioners have voted to ratify a letter to Governor Mark Gordon and the rest of the State Loan and Investment Board asking for consideration of the funding application for the emPath & Crisis Stabilization Unit that is proposed for Sheridan Memorial Hospital. In the letter, the commission explained they were disappointed that the SLIB had not approved funding for the project, which was applied for under Chapter 42 grant funding, which would have supplemented HHS funding already approved by the SLIB.
