MENTAL HEALTH FUNDING IN JOHNSON COUNTY

Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed accepting funding through the Wyoming Department of Health concerning mental health issues stemming from gambling in the state. The state set aside roughly $300,000 in annual funding for the counties to share, and Johnson County’s portion will be just over $9,100 annually, according to discussions. The commission voted to accept the funding.
