The Johnson County Commissioners have scheduled a special meeting for June 30th on the proposed rules and regulations regarding liquor licensing that will take effect in July of this year.

According to Assistant County Attorney Barry Crago, the county’s rules differ from the City of Buffalo’s plans in the handling of a dispensing area.

The county’s rules provide for a specific dispensing area where underage patrons are not allowed, whereas the city does not provide for such a restriction.

The town of Kaycee has opted to maintain a specific dispensing area, similar to the county’s rules and also under the old regulations.
