Meadowlark Ski Lodge, located along US-16 in the Bighorn National Forest, opened this past Saturday for the 2018/2019 ski season. According to Wayne Jones, owner of the ski hill, conditions have been favorable and things are looking good for the year.
Jones said that they have been working hard all summer to make some improvements to the ski hill, including updating the lifts and improving several of the runs.
Meadowlark Ski Lodge will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the rest of the season. Jones said that while schools are out for Christmas break, the ski lodge will operate 7 days a week.
