Funeral services for Mary K. Jones, 84 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Feb. 13, 2017, at Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held in her home town of Benton, PA. Burial will be at the Waller Cemetery. Friends who wish to send flowers can do so, in care of the McMichael Funeral Home in Benton. In her giving spirit and love of flowers, all arrangements will be
given to local hospitals and churches after the service.

Mary Kathleen Jones was born to Elvin and Ester Remley in Divide, PA, on May 13, 1932. She grew up and received her education in Benton and graduated from Benton High School in 1950. She graduated from business school in Wilkesbarre, PA, and during her time there, met her future husband. She married Edward H. Jones on May 23, 1953, in Divide and they made their home in Youngstown, Ohio, where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Mr. Jones passed away in 1971; and in 1984 Mary moved to Broomfield, near her son and grandchildren. After retirement, she returned to PA and lived in Bloomsburg near her sister and other family. In 2006, she moved to Buffalo, WY to be near her daughter and other grandchildren. She attended the Summit Wesleyan Church until moving to the Bee Hive and then later Amie Holt Care Center. Her faith in God was most important to her and she was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved flowers, gardening and her family and her friends.
She is survived by one son, Tim Jones of Goshen, Indiana; one daughter, Kelly Booth and her husband Mark of Buffalo; one sister Lois Stere of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Cody Jones and his wife Leslie, Jason Jones and his partner Carol Coupons, Caila Hunter and Jackson Booth; four great-grandchildren, Alyssah, Alex, Addyson and Aden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and one sister.
