Private family interment for Marta Miller, 67 year old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away Saturday at the St. Vincent’s Health Care in Billings, will be held at a later date. Marta Jean Miller was born on April 1, 1949 in Buffalo, Wyoming to Robert and Eileen Patch. She grew up and went to school in Buffalo and on February 7, 1966 she was married to Russell Miller in Buffalo where they made their home. Russ and Marta lived and worked on many different ranches in Johnson County and in 1979 they leased the family ranch and were in the cattle business for themselves for many years. In 2000 they left ranching and moved into Buffalo where they lived until her death.
Marta was an avid gardener and true believer and spent hours studying the Bible. She enjoyed crafting, but her passion was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Russ Miller of Buffalo; one son Bobby Miller and his wife Carla of Buffalo; one daughter Rhonda Zezas of Sheridan; two brothers Larry Patch and his wife Barbara of Alzada, Montana and Tim Patch and his wife Julie of Imperial, Nebraska; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son John Miller.
