Funeral Services for Mario Pina Jr., 33 year old former Buffalo, Gillette and Casper resident, who passed away Monday in Wilmington, North Carolina, will be held Tuesday, May 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Paul Brow officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.  Donations in Mario’s memory may be made to the Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Mario Pina Jr. was born on May 27, 1984 in Buffalo to Mario and Terri Pina.  He grew up and went to school in Gillette and as a young boy spent some time living with his family in Tennessee before moving back to Gillette where he attended Campbell County High School.  After high school he worked at various jobs in Gillette.  In 2007 he moved to Casper where he worked for Power Services.  In 2013 he moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where he worked in Construction.  He continued living in North Carolina until his death.

Mario enjoyed football and was an avid Broncos fan.  He loved the beach and enjoyed fishing, hiking and was an accomplished guitar player.  His passion was spending time with his family and friends and discussing politics, music and life.

He is survived by his father Mario Pina Sr. of Gillette; three brothers Carlos Pina of Casper, Marcos Pina and his wife Krystal of Gillette and Tommy Garnick and his wife Brittany of Denver, Colorado; and two sisters, Michelle Williams of Gillette and Erica Pina of Missoula, Montana; three nieces, one nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother and one infant brother, and his grandmother Nancy Iddings.
