Margo Ann (Baker) Johnson, 71, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her residence.  Margo was born on September 23, 1945 to Wayne E. and Lois Blanche Baker Rogers in Sheridan, WY.

She attended Sheridan schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1963.  She worked for State Farm (Sam Rotellini), City of Sheridan, and Ed Hammer’s, Inc., before joining the Sheridan County Clerks Office, in which she retired after 38 years of service.

Margo was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  She was an avid bowler, loved to play cribbage and do puzzles, but was a fanatic Denver Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggets fan.

Margo was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Johnson, her parents, and sister, Karen (Baker) Lenz.  She is survived by her son, Charles (Alex) Johnson of Yuma, AZ; stepson, Steven (Sharon) Johnson of Mesa, AZ; stepdaughter, Sharon (Peter) Callan of Talking Rock, GA; brother, Ron (Annie Gail) Baker of Pasco, WA; sister, Donna (Glenn) Deming of Sheridan, WY; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Champion Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating.
