The 36th annual Buffalo Lions Club Lake Desmet Fishing Derby enjoyed two beautiful days before heavy rains dampened the last day of the event over Memorial Day weekend.
Anglers were out in good numbers and caught several tagged fish were caught this year, valued from $100 to one fish worth $3000.
Anglers caught a total of 38 tagged fish, one of the worth $1000!
The Grand Prize winners were Eric Chumwalooky and John Sturtz both of Sheridan.
The winner of the 2019 Kymco MXU 700LE Hunter was Bill Morgaridge also of Sheridan
Big Horn Mountain Radio’s “Catfish Hunter” escaped the hook again this year.
