The Wyoming Legislature’s Joint Revenue Committee met again early this week and according to Chairman and State Representative Mike Madden, the group is planning to meet yet again next month, just before the budget session.

This next meeting will be the seventh one and is scheduled for the last day in January so that the committee can assess the CREG economic analysis report and the APA’s recalibration report on school funding…

The need to balance state spending and available revenue is a serious cause for concern as Madden explains…

According to Madden, the Governor has made up the difference in reserves in his recently announced budget, but those reserves won’t last forever.
