Legislation allowing the Wyoming Water Development Commission to proceed in an effort to purchase water rights from Sasol Synfuels along with other assets at Lake DeSmet and Healy Reservoir is still under committee consideration in the Wyoming Legislature.
Last week, Johnson County Commissioner Bill Novotny announced that such a purchase was crucial to the any future construction of the proposed Bull Creek Reservoir.
