Kinskey told Big Horn Mountain Radio that due to past Supreme Court rulings, many of the decisions affecting Wyoming schools come from out-of-state consultants to provide the so-called best education that the funding can provide.
As a result, he’s introduced legislation to change the process…

SJ9 would not change the current guidelines that provide for an equal distribution of educational funds across the state so that poorer areas of the state are able to continue to provide a quality education to its young people.
SJ9 is one of many bills under consideration by the 64th Wyoming Legislature in the current general session.
