Private family interment for Judy Schultz, 73 year old Buffalo resident who passed away December 13 in the Sheridan Memorial Hospital will be held by her family in Challis, Idaho. Judy Anne Schultz was born on May 7th, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul and Helen Riggs. Some of her best early memories were growing up on the family ranch in Challis and taking her horse, Chip, for day long rides into the nearby mountains. She was married later in life to Ted Schultz and raised her two children, Christy and Mark. They made their home in Challis for over 40 years and spent their last 10 years living in Wyoming to be close to their grandchildren.
Judy to visit with people, both friends and strangers. Her sweet voice and soft heart will be missed by everyone who knew her. It was always important to her to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, horses, family and life. Her heart has always belonged in the Challis mountains and her final resting place will be in the Wino Basin in Challis. The family will hold a Celebration of Life this coming June.
She is survived by one daughter Christy Milmine of Buffalo, Wyoming; one son Mark Schultz of Moab, Utah; one brother Gary Riggs of Boise, Idaho, and five grandchildren Brooke and Brayden Schultz, and Caden, Cody, and Kollen Milmine. She was preceded in death by her husband Ted Schultz.
