Funeral services for Jena Mills, 53-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away early Saturday morning at her home in Buffalo, will be held January 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Steven Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Willow Grove Cemetery with a graveside service to follow the funeral. Jena Renae Jacquot was born April 2, 1964 in Spokane, Washington to Richard and Carol Jacquot. She grew up on the family farm in Rathdrum, Idaho the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from private Christian School in Rathdrum in 1982. She married Roger Mills in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on August 1, 1982. Following their marriage, they moved to Little Rock, Arkansas for about six years then back to Coeur d’Alene where they started their family. They were blessed with two daughters- Malea and Jolene before moving their family to Buffalo, Wyoming in 1997.  After moving to Buffalo, they sadly lost their son, Jacob in 2000. Jena was active at Big Horn Baptist Church in Buffalo for many years. She taught Sunday School, played the piano, and sang every Sunday. She loved to teach others music and there are many within the community that she touched with her gift of music. She moved to Grace Baptist in Sheridan where she continued to be active in her ministry. She leaves a lasting impression on those that she taught and will be missed by many.

She is survived by her husband, Roger, and two daughters, Malea and Jolene of Buffalo. Her parents, three siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her son Jacob.
