Jean F. Moffat, 89, of Sheridan, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at her home. She was born December 10, 1928 in Glasgow, Scotland to Archibald and Catherine (Morrison) Moffat.
Jean moved to Sheridan in 1947 with her parents and family. At the age of 19, she began a career at the Bank of Commerce, which later became First Interstate Bank. She retired from the bank after working for 35 years.
In her younger years, she played softball and enjoyed bowling. She was an avid walker and loved to swim. Jean was also, a longtime supporter of Sheridan County sports.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Jean is survived by her family, Jean Morgen, Stephen, Graham, and Maggie all of Sheridan; very special friends, Susan Malyurek and Mary Emme both of Sheridan; and lifetime friend, Maleva Deliramich of Texas.
