The Johnson County Mentor Program will be taking full advantage of Wyoming’s “free fishing” day tomorrow.
The program matches adult volunteers with area kids who are in need of a role model.
Occasionally, the program plans group activities that include archery shoots, hunting and fishing.
Up to 15 kids between the ages of 9 and 17 will be casting a line into Lake DeSmet on Saturday morning, enjoying Wyoming’s license free fishing day.
For information on becoming a much-needed volunteer, give the program a call at 425-1012.
