Sean McCallister, CEO for the Johnson County Healthcare Center asked the Buffalo City Council for a letter of support in an effort to seek a Mineral Royalty Grant funded through the Office of Land and Investments.

The grant would help cover the cost of the hospital’s pharmacy remodel planned for next year.

The project is expected to cost $517K and McAllister believes the hospital has a good chance of receiving the funding…

The Council voted to provide a letter of support for the project.

 

In other business, the council voted to release the retainage funds in the amount of $43,307 to Barnum Inc. now that the Dump Draw Project has certified as completed.
