Local law enforcement and the Johnson County Emergency Management Office have been planning for all contingencies during the days leading up to the total solar eclipse on August 21st.

According to Johnson County Healthcare Center’s Administrator Nicole Hobbs, preparations are being made to handle medical emergencies during that period as well…

Hobbs also told Big Horn Mountain Radio that the Johnson County hospital staff is trained  to handle any emergencies, and very much aware that medical transports will be handled a little different for those particular days…

The Glenrock and Casper areas are in the path of the total eclipse and the anticipated number of visitors to the state is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands.
