On Sunday, June 9, 2019, Jarod Winslow Livingston, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew was taken home in the loving arms of his Lord & Savior. Jarod was 40 years of age.

Jarod was born on August 22, 1978 in Sheridan to Jack & Karen Livingston.

He graduated from Sheridan High School, received his Police Science Degree from Sheridan College and graduated from the Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy. On July 28, 2007 he married Angela Marie McIver. They were blessed with two daughters, Brynlee Marie and Ava Rainee.

Jarod cherished his wife and daughters. He loved family gatherings especially holidays. Jarod loved to barbecue and he served the perfect steak. He enjoyed the beauty of the Big Horn Mountains, hiking and fishing. Jarod was an avid reader and enjoyed studying history especially American History. Animals were a big part of Jarod’s life. He loved their different personalities, love and loyalty. Jarod worked at the WY Girls School for 9 years. He enjoyed the staff and was a good role model. Jarod valued friendship and was so glad to have the opportunity to be a part of the food service industry at Frackleton’s. Jarod enjoyed his work and all of those who worked with him. He loved you all – you were his family. He was integrous in his work and enjoyed so many of the patrons who cared not only for him but for Angie and the girls. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate heart. (Proverbs 3:3-4) “Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep in your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.”

Jarod was preceded in death by his grandparents, 2 uncles and 1 aunt. He is survived by his wife, Angie, daughters, Brynlee and Ava, parents, Jack and Karen Livingston, father & mother-in-law, Dan and Katie McIver all of Sheridan, brother Nick (Mimoza) Livingston of Portland OR, sister-in-law Melody (Richard) Murdy of Seattle WA, his nieces Taya Livingston, Emma, Raeanne, and Danielle Murdy. Jarod has numerouse aunts, uncles and cousins.

A viewing open to the public will be held on Monday, June 17 from 5 to 6 PM at Kane Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2:00 PM at Cornerstone Church. Pastor Tony Forman and Pastor Chuck Gifford will officiate.
