Today is a day reserved for ghosts and goblins… big and small and young and old.

The annual Monster March is set for 4 to 6 this afternoon with the small scary creatures gathering in front of the Jim Gatchell Museum for the stroll up and down Main Street in Buffalo for trick & treating area businesses.

The trick or treating will continue into the evening and Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder wants everyone to drive cautiously with road conditions and also addressed the Monster March specifically…

Main Street will close for the march from 3:45 to 6:15pm today.

Later, the older and bigger creatures will be participating in the 4th annual “Creep & Crawl” scavenger hunt along Main Street in Buffalo.

More than 12 businesses downtown will be participating in the event and the “hunt” begins at Pie Zanos at 17 N. Main and owner Renae Tiller had this to say…

Once participants find all of the scavenger items, they return to Pie Zanos and their names are entered into a drawing for several prizes, including a 65” flat screen television.

Participants must be 21 or older to enter the contest.
