Highway 14A at Burgess Junction opened yesterday for the summer months.
The announcement was made by the Wyoming Department of Transportation on Wednesday.
According to the agency’s website, the 22-mile stretch of scenic mountain road in the Bighorn Mountains of north-central Wyoming annually closes about Nov. 30 at the conclusion of the fall hunting season.
It typically opens for the summer by Memorial Day weekend.
