SHERIDAN – The Sheridan County Museum will host their annual Holiday Open House Saturday, December 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Admission to the museum will be half price and light refreshments will be served both days.  A 10% discount will be applied to all Christmas and jewelry merchandise in the Museum Gift Shop.

Special events on Saturday include our award-winning Tidbit children’s program from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  Children will design felt ornaments and make clove oranges to take home.  An adult must accompany the children, and participants are asked to RSVP by calling 675-1150, to ensure enough materials for the program.

The holiday movie, It’s a Wonderful Life will be shown at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and The Flutes of Christmas flute quartet will provide live music at 2:00 p.m.

On Sunday, author Craig Johnson will be at the museum at noon to read his annual Longmire Christmas story.

Everyone is invited to participate in the holiday fun at the Sheridan County Museum.
