Henrietta Gene Mumma, 87, walked on peacefully from this life on Friday, May 3, 2019. She was holding the hand of her beloved husband of 54 years, Richard Mumma. Henrietta, “Hank”, loved learning, books, art, music, architecture, cooking, food, her friends and most of all her family, whether they were related or not.

She was active in the First Church of Christ Scientist, in Sheridan, Sheridan Community Concert Association, the Brinton Museum, and many other arts organizations. She loved the Big Horns, hiking, skiing, camping, fishing and hunting for arrowheads and mushrooms with her family.

Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and honorary grandchildren: Viktoria Exon of Palmyra, TN, Nikolas Exon of Sheridan, Elijah Sturman and Lina Sturman of St. Ignatius, MT, Lindsay Urbatchka (Jonah Booker) of Phoenix, AZ, Allison Phillips (Ian) of Boise, ID and Colleen Rosetti (Rich) of Jackson. She was trilled to be the Great Grandma of Myla Holmes and Maddex Exon Moore of Palmyra.

Hank is survived by her husband Richard, her son Duffy Exon, both of Sheridan, her daughter Tracy Mumma (David Sturman) of St. Ignatius, MT, two sisters; Helen Erickson and Darleen Smith, both of Billings, MT, and dear friends Richard and Kathy Urbatchka of Sheridan.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will take place at later date. Please make a contribution to the Friends of the Fulmer Public Library. 335 W. Alger St., Sheridan, WY 82801 in Hank’s memory, if you are so inclined.
