HB171 passed the Wyoming Senate on its 3rd reading, and if signed by the Governor, will allow for the sale and production of hemp in the state.

Hemp and marijuana are different species of the cannabis plan, with hemp having less than 3 tenths of a percent of THC, which is the psychoactive compound of the cannabis plant.
