A man who was arrested for injuring tourists during a Gunfighters show in Cody last summer has been arrested again – this time for possession of methamphetamines and bond violation.
51 year old Steve Winsor was arrested Monday evening during a traffic stop for failure to maintain a single lane of travel. According to Police Lieutenant Jason Stafford, during the stop, Winsor was found to be in possession of methamphetamines and a weapon, in direct violation of his bond conditions.
Winsor was arrested in February for reckless endangering in connection with an incident in July of 2016, in which he is charged with firing a loaded weapon during the Gunfighters act in front of the Irma Hotel. Three spectators were injured in the incident.
Winsor has a felony record from charges of selling methamphetamine and delivering a controlled substance in 1995. His criminal history includes convictions for reckless endangerment, domestic violence, carrying a concealed weapon, and multiple probation violation charges.
