It is the year of the Women of Wyoming and the granddaughter of Buffalo native who designed the state flag was a visitor to the city in recent days.

Rebeca Ferguson Keays met with the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum Board and staff in an effort to provide historical memorabilia and artifacts relating to the life of the late Verna Keays.

Some of the items that will eventually make to the museum display area includes photographs of a younger Verna Keays along with historical material relating to her life and community service in Buffalo.
