Frances (Fran) Elizabeth Fall

 

March 26, 1934 – December 22, 2017

 

Frances Elizabeth (Auer) Fall beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2017.  She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family.

 

Fran was born in Butte, Montana to Oscar Frances Auer and Elizabeth (Borzick) Auer.  Fran married the love of her life Robert (Bob) Fall on November 7, 1953 in Butte, MT.  Bob and Fran moved to Sheridan in 1962 with Safeway Stores, Inc. where they have enjoyed living ever since.

 

Fran worked side by side with Bob at the Golden Steer Restaurant for 26 years.  She also spent many years volunteering at Holy Name School, Church, and Sheridan Memorial Hospital in the gift shop.  She enjoyed family, playing cards, cooking, the Big Horn mountains, traveling, shows in Vegas, golfing, snowmobiling, sewing and being with people.  She was an amazing, patient, and caring mother not only to her five children, but to many others who considered her their second mom.

 

Fran was active in the following organizations:  Sheridan Jayceettes, Sheridan Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Foundation, Council of Catholic Women and Akcita Win Sorority.

 

Fran is proceeded in death by her parents, son-in-law Tim Reimers and granddaughter Hope Marie Peralo.  She is survived by her husband, Bob Fall; children, Dave (Julie) Fall of Gillette, WY, Cindy Reimers of Sheridan, Laurie (Edmund) Kukuchka of Cody, WY, Paul (Callie) Fall of Sheridan WY, and Brenda (Tony) Peralo of Hoover, AL; grandchildren Brittany (Brian) Reimers, Chelsey (Aaron) Cole, Randy (Liz) Reimers, Robin Fall, Joshua (Laci) Martoglio, Katie (Devin) Fall, Abigail (Nick) Mancuso, Jennifer Martoglio, Nathan Fall, Paul Fall, Jordan Martoglio, Connor Peralo, Hannah Peralo and Sophia Peralo; five great grandchildren; siblings Robert (LaRae) Auer, Arlene (Jim) Mayer, Carol (Dave) Lubick; and numerous nieces, nephews and family who loved and adored her.

 

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 6 -7 p.m. with a Rosary following at Champion Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating. Luncheon following at Holy Name Parish Hall.  Interment will follow luncheon in the Sheridan Elks Cemetery.
