Yesterday, the Wyoming Department of Health confirmed the deaths of four Sheridan County residents attributed to COVID-19.
All four were older adults had health conditions recognized as putting patients at higher risk of serious illness related to COVID-19. All four were also residents of long-term care facilities.
This brings the number of Sheridan County resident deaths to 27.
In a related announcement, the Wyoming Department of Health announced changes to Public Health Orders 1 and 2.
With regards to Public Order #1, groups of up to 8 are now permitted to sit together in restaurants and theaters. And the restrictions regarding gymnasiums have been eased by removing the limit of 1 person every 120 square feet.
Gatherings are now allowed for up to 25 people.
Indoor events may allow up to 25% of occupancy with a maximum of 500.
Outdoor events may allow up to 50% of occupancy with a maximum of 1000.
No changes to Public Order #3 have been announced.
