The Annual Lion’s Club Fishing Derby, suffering from poor weather in recent years, benefitted by the unusually good weather during its 34th derby over the Memorial Day weekend.
The largest overall game fish was caught by James Hansen of Sheridan.
His nearly 26” Lake Trout earned him a 20qt, cooler stuffed with meat.
Saturday’s grand prize winner of $800 was Michael Pursifull of Washington state.
Sunday’s grand prize of $1500 went to Desire McCabe of Evansville.
The grand prize winner of the Kymco ATV was Bill Morganeidge of Sheridan.
