The High School Rodeo Season is underway. Things got started in Douglas last weekend and continue in Riverton this Saturday and Sunday. The rodeo will be in Jackson September 16th and 17th, then finish up in Wheatland September 23rd and 24th.
Competitors earn points based on where they finish on each day of a rodeo competition (10 points for first place, 9 points for second place, 8 points for third place, etc…).
The points from the fall season carry into the Spring 2018 season, which will start in April.
The top 4 point totals in each event, after the State Finals Rodeo in June, will qualify for the 2018 High School National Finals Rodeo to be held July 15th – 21st @ Rock Springs.
