A Celebration of the life of Diana Leibee 73 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Monday evening at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10 am to 4pm at her home located at #3 Sunlight Drive in Buffalo. A private family Interment will be in the Kearney Nebraska Cemetery.
Diana Rae Leibee was born on May 5, 1943 in Wayne, Nebraska to Marvin and Esther Dunklau. She grew up and went to school in Wayne County, Nebraska and graduated from Wayne High School with the class of 1961. After high school she attended Midland College in Freemont, Nebraska and later transferred to Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska where she graduated with a degree in Business.
She was married on June 5, 1966 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne, Nebraska to Daniel Leibee and they made their home in Lakewood, Colorado where she was a homemaker raising two sons and supporting her husband who was an airline pilot. They retired in 1995 and moved to Buffalo, Wyoming. Mr. Leibee passed away in May of 2009 and Diana continued living in Buffalo until her death.
Diana was active, well known and respected in the community as a faithful servant of Christ. Always willing to help those most in need, Diana will be deeply missed by her family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers who will miss the pleasure of her blessings.
She is survived by two sons, Jefferson Leibee of Casper, Wyoming and Judson Leibee of Coto de Caza, California; one sister Phyllis Ann Rahn and her husband Darrel of Wayne, Nebraska and four grandchildren, Hunter and Luke Leibee of Coto de Caza, California and Sara and Katrina Leibee of Highlands, Ranch, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
