David Elmer Friant of Sheridan passed away peacefully at home January 3, 2019. He was 93.
Born in Illinois, David married Fern, nee Hafka, January 28, 1950. Together they farmed for many years and retired to Wyoming to be with family.
David was preceded in death by his sister Pearl, and brothers Charles, Walter, Carl and Irvin. He is survived by his sister Irene and her husband Ed.
David is also survived by Fern, his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, his two children Nancy Schaffer and Sue Engelhardt, and Fred Schaffer and Tony Engelhardt, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and friends.
David enjoyed spending time with his family, watching westerns, and especially his Saturday night euchre card games with the family.
Services will be held in the Spring.
