COVID cases are low, admissions are low, and morale is high!

That’s the assessment of Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s CEO Mike McCafferty regarding the current COVID cases and vaccination efforts.

Speaking during a press briefing yesterday morning, McCafferty had this to say…

According to McCafferty, the number of area residents visiting the vaccination clinic have slowed to about 12-15 per day and at some time in the future, the vaccination efforts may be transferred to hospital physicians.  However, that decision is not expected at any time soon.

Another bit of good news is that the Sheridan area has experienced no spike in COVID cases following the recent spring break for college students.
