The Hub on Smith – Sheridan’s Senior Center, is pleased to announce this year’s distinguished honorees for the 2019 Keystone Awards. The annual award, first established in 2010 as the Senior Citizen Council’s primary fundraiser, recognizes three outstanding community members annually, who have exhibited strength of character and a lifetime of service to the Sheridan community. First conceived by Rindy West, Carmen Rideout, Hub Executive Director, and a team of community volunteers, the prestigious award is modeled after the Kennedy Center Honors and features a gala reception and program at Sheridan’s Wyo Theater featuring special tributes and entertainment showcasing these very important community members. As in year’s past, this year’s honorees have each played significant roles in the community and impacted many organizations and lives with their selflessness and service to others as well as dedication to making Sheridan an outstanding community for all its residents. This year’s honorees are Richard and Tami Davis, Tom Scott and Don Julian.
