Cleo Evelyn Pfister, 100, died November 13, 2017, at Green House Living in Sheridan. She was born July 24, 1917, in Gillette to Oscar and Bertha Wyman Olson. She was educated in Gillette, graduating from Campbell County High School in 1935 and attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD.

She married Charles (Doc) Pfister on August 6, 1938. Cleo and Doc lived most of their 68 year married life in Sheridan and Dayton, Wy raising five sons. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, cross stitching, and cross word puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2006, her sister and best friend, Ruth Barney, in 1997, and her oldest son John in 1984. She is survived by four sons, William J. (Cheryl) Pfister of Sheridan Wy; Rev Neal A. Pfister, Denver, Co; Michael S. (Julie) Pfister, Ballwin, Mo; Kevin T. (Linda) Pfister, Edmond, Ok; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at 6pm with Rosary at 7pm on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Kane Funeral Home. The funeral liturgy will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 17, 2017 at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Neal Pfister officiating. Burial will be in the Elks Section at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
