SHERIDAN, WY— At their meeting on Monday, the Sheridan City Council approved a license agreement for the Sheridan Community Land Trust (SCLT) to cross two pieces of city property, allowing the completion of the Soldier Ridge Trail System this summer.

City Utilities Director, Dan Roberts:

The license agreement with the city allows SCLT to expand upon the Soldier Ridge Trail System and connect it to the Sheridan Pathways System. The first phase of the expansion will include the construction of the 3-mile Hidden Hoot Trail this summer. The 2-mile Heights Ranch Trail which will connect “The Classic” Trail to the Hidden Hoot Trail will be completed at a later date.

Vrba added that when the Soldier Ridge Trail System is complete, it will make accessing the outdoors easier than ever before.
