Funeral services for Casey Jones, 52-year-old lifetime Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly at his home in Buffalo Sunday evening, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, at the Big Horn Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Paulson officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside service to follow the funeral. Ezra Craig “Casey” Jones, Jr. was born on June 9, 1965 in Buffalo to Craig and Kathy Jones.  He grew up and graduated from Johnson County High School with the class of 1983.  He went to the University of Wyoming where he studied Architectural Engineering.  He spent many years traveling back and forth between school in Laramie and working as a welder in Alaska.  Around 2002, Casey moved back to Buffalo and started Jackplane Cabinet and Woodwork, which he owned and operated until the time of his death.  Casey enjoyed doing anything fast, motocross racing, building and playing guitar and riding his Harley.  He shared the love of woodworking with his grandfather, Dr. John, and built beautiful cabinetry and furniture.

 

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kathy and Gary Duncan of Buffalo, his father and step-mother Craig and Jacque Jones, also of Buffalo; three brothers Jake Jones of Buffalo, Daniel Duncan and his wife Lindsay also of Buffalo, and Keith Jones and his wife Whitney of La Quinta, California; two sisters Chris Rickett and her husband Paul, and Sarah Myers and her husband Rick all of Buffalo.  Numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.  Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. John and Ginny Knebel and Ezra and Grace Jones.
