The council also passed resolution 1430 agreeing to the Water Wells and Transmission 2019 Level 3 Project covering 1/3 of the cost of the entire project and all future maintenance and repairs.

The $1.8 million project was signed into law by Governor Gordon following this year’s legislative session and is expected to adequately provide an alternative water supply for the city.
