With the 80% of the projected cost provided by a Wyoming Department of Transportation grant, the center is seeking the remaining funds through a Wyoming Business Council grant.
The Buffalo City Council agreed last week to submit the grant request for the center.
If the request is approved, construction could begin as early as next spring.
