Buffalo Events LLC is working on yet another fun event for the downtown area… the Baaahhfulo Fest scheduled for June 5th at Prosinski Park.
The event will highlight Buffalo and Johnson County’s strong Basque heritage with live music along with food and beverage vendors.
Several sheep wagons will be on display during the event and the festival kicks off with the “running of the sheep” down Main Street.
Buffalo Mayor Shane Schrader was a guest on the KBBS Morning Show on Friday and lightheartedly commented on the upcoming event…
The event will also include a sheep dog trail demonstration.
The festival is just one of a number of outdoor events planned for Buffalo this summer that includes the Extreme Bull-riding PRCA event on May 8th as well as a summer schedule for Saturdays in the Square that will feature top local talented musicians like Jalan Crossland and Prairie Wildfire.
