Since the property is owned by the city, the association sought and received the council’s support for a remodel of the food service area.
The city will have no responsibility in the cost of the renovations but understood the need for the improvements.
The temporary closing has been a disappointment to the Rub of the Green restaurant that has been operating the food service for the past several months.
