Buffalo’s main street will be getting an added feature to improve it’s “walkability” in the near future. Jon Cordonier of the Buffalo Downtown Association (BDA) was on the Big Horn Mountain Radio Network’s “Community Speaks” program on 1450AM KBBS on Wednesday, and said that a state-of-the-art outdoor speaker system will soon be installed on Main Street.
Cordonier went on to explain that the system will be extremely versatile and able to be completely customized to meet a variety of needs.
Cordonier explained that the BDA is still exploring what type of music and what times it will be played over the speakers throughout the day. He added that the BDA has spoken with several Main Street businesses and are working with all of them to meet their needs and ensure that Buffalo’s “authenticity” is not lost with the installation of the speaker system.
