At its meeting last week, the Buffalo City Council accepted a funding grant from the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming that will allow the city’s Police Department to continue the alcohol and tobacco compliance checks.
According to Police Chief Jason Carder, the grant provides $2,500 each for the compliance checks, performed throughout the year by his department.
PMO’s Bill Hawley spoke of the success of those checks earlier this month…
The checks include the use of an underage buyer who attempts to purchase alcohol and tobacco products from local businesses.
