Bomgaars is coming to Buffalo!

That announcement was made by Century 21 Real Estate Agent, Craig Wetterlund during a presentation to the Buffalo City Council yesterday afternoon…

The company is closing today on the purchase of the vacant Shopko building west of town on Fort Street.

According to its website, Bomgaars is a family owned and operated supplier with 94 stores in Iowa, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming, employing approximately 2400 people.

Their stores stock over 60,000 items in 13 major departments, including Lawn and Garden plus Nursery, Clothing and Footwear, Farm, Pet and Automotive supplies, Paint, Hardware, Tools, Housewares, and Toys.

The building has been vacant since Shopko closed its doors in 2019.
