Billy H. Watson, 82, lifetime resident of Sheridan, returned to his heavenly home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the Kloefkorn Hospice Home in Casper, WY with family by his side. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating. 

He was born on June 10, 1934 in Sheridan, WY to Homer and Bertine (Burns) Watson. He married Emilie Ruth Eckardt on August 29th, 1957 and they celebrated 59 years together.  They had four children and seven grandchildren.  Bill served in the Air Force during the Korean War, was a rancher and devoted 34 years to the US Postal Service.

Bill was a member of the Sheridan Masonic Lodge #8 for over 50 years and lifetime member of the First Christian Church. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and photographer who loved spending time outdoors.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Lowell Hainline, twin sister Betty Moffat and daughter Kathryn.  He is survived by his wife Emilie Ruth, daughter Lynda “Kelly” (Mario) Bezzina of Denver, CO, son Charles (Dara) Watson of Sheridan, WY, daughter Christine (Scott) Thorne of Bar Nunn, WY; nephew, Ron Hainline of WA; grandchildren Michael Bezzina; Nathaniel, Alexander and Evelina Watson; Madeline, Katie and Sydney Thorne.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions (online donations can be made at www.cwhp.org or checks can be mailed to 319 S. Wilson Street, Casper, WY 82601) or the First Christian Church 102 S.
