The City of Buffalo issued a proclamation during Tuesday’s council meeting, proclaiming that day as Lifesmarts day in honor of Buffalo High School’s success in national competition in Pittsburgh last month.

High school teacher Kami Kennedy identified the students participating as Tanna Dahlberg, Tyler Shreeve, Ben Emlinger, and Kaden Milmine.

The team was recognized as the state’s 2017 Lifesmarts champion as well.

Lifesmarts recognition is for consumer literacy achievement in competition with other student groups nationwide.
